Default NA NB Xida promo - Dec 2021

Like so many things in the last 18 months, our costs have gone up precipitously. We have added shock boots to the NA/NB Xidas which contributed to the upcoming price increase of $160.00 on January 1st. For the month of December, we're going to include the boots at no extra charge. Now is the time to experience the legendary Xida compliance and grip before the price goes up. Visit the website for spec, options and current pricing.

Current price while supplies last. Next batch of shocks is the new price.

You can also add these boots to your current Xidas https://supermiata.com/xida-shock-boot.aspx

I may have to eat ramen noodles for a bit but at least I'll be running Xidas WITH BOOTS on the NA next year! Ordered!

I already have the socks from inertia, any reason not to run the boots as well? I do a lot of street miles so want to keep everything as well protected as I can.

It's not something we had given any thought to. I presume they would fit and work OK with the bags from Inertia.

Are the GS series no longer offered? I’m seeing XL’s only on the site, unless I’m missing something.

Correct, discontinued. You can still get the 550/350 Swift springs on XL. XL are being discontinued also. One set left.

Is there a new series replacing them, or will it be Race only? I’m building an LSx Exocet that for the most part will be street only, and I want to say I remembered you recommending the GS’s for mainly street driven cars in an old thread.

XL dimensions will be discontinued. XL and GS are the same shock, just higher grade springs on the XL
We will continue offering shorter Xidas for the NA/NB.

Ah, okay. Assuming that the Exocet shock spacers are an absolute requirement either way? Do you know of any compatibility issues with the V8R arms? I’m still working on getting the drivetrain and other suspension parts gathered, but once I’m close to mounting everything on, I’ll be giving you a call to hash out the finer details.

Spacers are required regardless on the Exo. No knowledge of the V8R arms, sorry. Definitely contact ed.

I think I’ll take that last set of XL’s, I’m pretty sure the Race sit too low for my intentions, plus, I’d be happy to keep the stock sway bars. I tried calling in to order as well as sending an email, haven’t heard back yet. Whenever you guys have some time, I’ll take them. Thanks.

Searched for "nick". Found your email in our spam folder. Moved to inbox. Gotta ditch that domain

You can also just order from the website.

What would you recommend for springs? Somewhat leaning towards the Touring set vs the Sport set, but I don’t want to end up undersprung, especially since my build is likely heavier than most.

This is my setup:

Exocet with Race Cage and welded floors, full bodywork
Aluminum block LS with 4L60E
V8R tubular subframes/A-arms
07 Explorer rear diff/DSS axles
15x8 +0 with either 225/45R15 or 245/40R15 (Street performance compound)
Estimated 1900-2000 Lbs

Car will be 99% street driven, but spiritedly. Street comfort and handling are the priority. Might get a wild hair and play on the track one or two weekends a year.

Email them directly instead of asking on a forum. Much easier for everyone involved. I was just exchanging emails with Ed this morning with almost no lag time. They're very responsive.

I was using their "info@" address.

He was too, but something about his email address or the email itself triggered the spam filter so it was in our spam box.

Thanks for the positive feedback

+1 here for Ed being super responsive via email. I’ve spent a nearly handful of g’s with 949 since last fall preparing my MSM for its next stage in life, including a set of booted Xidas on this promo. I’ve emailed many times and get very quick replies during normal business hours. Thanks Ed!
