Default Roach Coach Miata

$100. I think I overpaid...

I had to tarp the car and set off bug bombs the day I brought her home...

Note dumpster in background...

...yeah...

So, this is the documentation of probably the nastiest NA build thats actually being turned back into a running street car ever... I purchased the car in 2017 for $100 and proceeded to drive it 200 miles home. No mechanical issues revealed themselves on the drive and the car does have a torsen, verified by donuts. I discovered the infestation on the way home, when a trio of roaches decided to play tag across the dashboard. That was unpleasant to discover at 70mph. The plan for this car is to be a street car, with some HPDE events planned here and there. Its not going to be pretty. Its not going to be comfortable. But it is going to be fun every time I hop in. More posts soon to bring y'all up to speed with where its at now, and as the build progresses.

As a teaser, I picked this up last night:

Till next post, Cheers!

Wait, did you actually sit in that thing, in that state, for 200 miles?

Yes, yes I did. Yes, it was horribly gross, clothes were burned, and the shower ran out of hot water before I felt clean...
