I am sorry if this has been covered before, I don't care much for the interwebs. I need another 1.6 engine for my 1991. What I seem to have found is that the JDM 1999 1.6 engines have the same block with the only difference being the slightly lower compression pistons. I plan on using my redone 1.6 head. I will also use my little turbo to offset the lower compression. Is this true and is this a bolt on process? (the JDM 1999 1.6 engines are cheaper, that is my motivation)
