Wierd sound from engine and lean afr

Default Wierd sound from engine and lean afr

So before I start boosting my miata I had this sound develop at idle that doesn't quite sound like lifter tick
I only found one other video with a similar sound but not at idle and it was worn (not spun) bearings. They stated their issue was fixed replacing the bearings and a 3 year update said car was still fine.
If it is the bearings, I'm also thinking about putting a better oil pump while I'm in there like a vvt pump with boudary engineering gears. might be a waste of money for a 1.6 but I feel like I'm already stuck with it anyways since I have all the parts for it already.
I've also had issues with AFR being too lean. Stock narrow band reads around .03v and an AEM 40-3110 reads around 4.2. already checked for vacuum and exhaust leaks and found none. engine is still running on stock b6aw ecu.
Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated. I was really looking forward to getting boost soon but I'd rather fix this first. Sucks because i already put the turbo on it just not intercooler piping yet. so its still runiing on AFM already have most parts ready for an MS3x Too

edit:I don't know why my signature didn't appear but its a California emissions 1.6 swapped to manual
