So, I got my 1.6 torn down, cleaned everything up, parts are coming in, things are looking good. The head is at the machine shop now and I'm going to need to pick up a head gasket soon. So, what's the general consensus on what is best? Should I go OEM or is there an aftermarket one that is better, like Cometic?

Elring, Reinz are totally fine for non FI applications

 

OEM has been fine on my build running between 16 and 22psi on a 6758
