Default My Oil Line is close to turbo..

Is this a worry?

It does get hot, but I wasn't sure if some of ya'll run it like this. This oil feed line is from a common ebay kit

Thanks!

Find out what size it is, they're typically -3 or -4 AN. Buy a longer pre-made -3 line, or if it's -4, buy SS line and fittings. Point the 90* fitting at the turbo away from the engine, and loop it either to the front or to the rear of the engine, so you're not going directly over the manifold. I then wrap mine in fire sleeve for abrasion and heat protection.

take a piece of string/hose/whatever, run it from your feed around the back of the head over to the turbo in a way that it doesnt rub or get snagged on anything sharp or hot. Measure length, make or order new line according to that size.

Thank you all for the responses. I will order a new longer line and route it away. I made the post because I wasn't sure if others have it this way, but now that I think about it, it's not worth the risk of the hot air melting the line and risking an oil related fire..
