I picked up a used intercooler a while back and am working on installing this weekend. This must be an old design of some sort. First the stencil is different, but more importantly the core appears to be about 4” longer than what they are selling now, and it’s not fitting very well with the PS and AC lines.

anyone know what the deal is with this version of the intercooler they sold?

 

Well I found the answer buried in the FM turbo kit installation instructions. This core was used on kits for NBs or cars w/o AC. Of course I have an NA with A/C. Who knew.

 

Out of curiousity I went out and measured the one on my MSM from 2010. The core measures 21.5" in width. Fitment is tight with A/C and P/S
