Hi guys---long time lurker here,
I assembled an MS3X with a Mapdaddy upgrade as per trubokitty's instructions for my 2001 Miata a couple months ago. I however, was not getting any crank in. The car never started but would crank over. Fuel pump seemed to work fine, injectors seemed to work too. I dont think I was getting any crank signal to the MS. The tachometer did not indicate any RPMs. I also did not seem to get any spark either. Is there any ways to bench test the ECU at all? I do not know if the issue with my ECU install would be the PNP harness i fabbed or if it is something wrong with the ECU itself. I am more than happy to elaborate if you guys have any questions. I more just want to get this thing running during my free time in the winter when the car is stored.
