Default Installing WB O2 sensor - Adaptronic Select NA8C

Guys, piggybacking off of another post I made asking for an install/setup manual for the Adaptronic Select NA8C ECU (1996 Miata), can someone at least guide on how to setup a wideband O2 sensor? I have an analog wire (0-5V) from my wideband O2 but am not 100% sure where it goes into the ECU and if I need any special cable, etc. in order to make it happen. Please help

I have no clue about the Adaptronics board, but if it's a plug and play unit that uses the factory wiring harness it might pull the signal from the factory plug. On my ECU I ran the power from the cigarette lighter and routed the signals out to a spare O2 sensor harness plug. That plugged into my upstream (Cali Emissions) plug in the engine bay and was sent back to my ECU through the factory wiring.

Thank you for your reply - I read up more on it and a serial connection via 2.5mm jack is preferred for a WB O2 signal into the Adaptronic. I was able to source a cable for this. Also, with the WB O2, it will not connect into the factory O2 sensor plug so there basically wont be a signal going through the OEM harness for this.

Like... a headphone jack, only a bit smaller? Never heard of that before, very interesting.

Yeah, normal headphone jack is 3.5mm but 2.5mm has been historically used to terminate serial cables (not common but not uncommon). It is what is used by the now defunct adaptronic ECUs
