Default Anybody using Mini MS3pro, non-pnp?

Looked around, and it seems everyone on this platform is using the PNP from MSlabs, Bofi, etc. Other than needing to wire a harness, it shouldn't be any different, right? Just surprised that I couldn't find others using it, which makes me wonder if there are some "gotchas"

No real gotchas to speak of, it should work great once you have everything wired in. They just released it maybe a couple of months ago AFAIK which, coupled with the non-PnP nature of the product, would explain why there's not a bunch of them running around in the wild yet.

Pretty sure firmware 1.6.0 is required, so make sure you have the proper injector characterization data as it has changed since 1.5.2.

I think it's a fairly smokin' deal for a full-on MS3.

It looks like a great option. I have a the 1st gen MS3Pro (not PNP) and after soldering up a breakout to connect to my wiring harness it's been working flawlessly. I had a great time adding it to the car!

For sure a great option. Could get a DIYBOB to make wiring it fairly easy. You'll learn way more about how the cars are wired and work in the process. Also really flexible for custom stuff.
