AFR Gauge re-heats after starting Engine

AFR Gauge re-heats after starting Engine
Hey,
is it normal for my AEM X-series 30-0300 to reheat after Engine startup ?
I have the Gauge wired to Switched Power via the ECUs DB37 and it works fine but when I turn on the Ignition and wait for the Fuel Pump to finish priming the Gauge starts heating, when I turn on the Engine it repeats the cycle which leaves my Car running really Rich for those few seconds it takes for the Gauge to reheat when the Engine is on. Is that normal ?
I can't imagine the Sensor heating twice in a row is really healthy eather.
I have also heated the Sensor a few times with the Engine off, which I found out later wasn't ideal so I hope I didn't break it.

This is totally normal.
Just don't let your car sit for too long with ignition on, these sensors don't like that. I personally have a seperate switch for the WB and let the car run for a few seconds with it turned off, then turn the WB on, but I have an Innovate MTX-L, which has a super aggressive heater controller and those like to kill sensors

This is totally normal.
Just don't let your car sit for too long with ignition on, these sensors don't like that. I personally have a seperate switch for the WB and let the car run for a few seconds with it turned off, then turn the WB on, but I have an Innovate MTX-L, which has a super aggressive heater controller and those like to kill sensors
