Timing issue after ECU swap
My turbo Miata has been a pain since I brought it home, but this one has stumped me. I was running a SpeedyEFI ECU that the previous owner installed and had a good, stable tune until it bit the dust. I ended up buying a MS3 PNP kit from DIYAutoTune, and getting it to run has been a nightmare. When I put the MS in I was able to get it to the gas station and back (barely) but it hasn't been drivable since. I can get it to turn over and (when it wants to) idle, but setting base timing has been my primary challenge, as the timing mark on the crank pulley seems to be right at the bottom (verified by my timing light and getting on my back). It looks like it's exactly 180° out, and I'm pretty sure the cam gears are where they should be since I threw a new timing belt on this afternoon. I'm running an ATI Super Damper with a Toyota COP kit, and can't figure out what went wrong. I've heard the spark outputs can get swapped on the MS2's, but the only information I've been able to find was for stock ignition systems with a coil pack and ignition wires. I've also heard the crank pulley can slip, but I find that unlikely with it already being upgraded and the TDC mark on the damper matching the notch on the cog behind it. I've included my current tune, as well as the SpeedyEFI tune I was running before the ECU died. I can get a data log tomorrow if needed, but I'm kind of dead in the water with tuning until I figure out what's causing this problem.
