Default Is this a gt2860???

Hey guys.
I am after a second hand GT2860 (disco potato) for my built miata. They are hard to come by where I'm from. I have found a local parts supplier claiming this is a gt2860 off a SR20, but this looks like the stock t28 (gt2560) off a Nissan SR20. the only thing that catches my eye is the fact it has bolt on compressor outlets/inlet.

Is it possible this is a 2860??

thanks for your help.

There should be a metal plate on the CHRA (center section between the compressor and exhaust housings) with some numbers on it. That's probably going to be the easiest way to tell.
For reference, here's the one off of my 2560R.

I think it's your basic t25 off of an SR20DET. "GT" turbos use ball bearings...I'm willing to bet this is a journal bearing turbo.
1 easy way to find out accurate details is to remove the snap ring on the compressor housing and separate the compressor from the CHRA. Take a caliper and measure the diameter of the compressor wheel. If my memory serves me right, it'll be 60mm diameter for a T28, and I think 56mm for a T25.
If this is a 60mm wheel, and it's a journal bearing turbo, this came off a mid to late 90's Nissan S14.
I've used this same turbo the entire time my miata was turbo charged, and had nothing but good luck with it. However, if you choose to purchase the turbo you are referencing, I'd recommend dismantling it, cleaning it, and performing a rebuild just for piece of mind.
They literally make everything for this turbo...bolt on to slip coupling adapters, rebuild kits, you name it.
