Default Los Angeles Help? Need to replace 2nd Gear Syncro-

Hi, I've got an NB 6 speed with a bad 2nd gear synchro. I've rebuilt transfer cases before, but never a manual transmission. Checked some videos, looks totally doable, but wondered if anyone in the broader Los Angeles area has experience and would be willing to help. I'd prefer to tackle it with someone else and happy to pay for the time, donate some parts, and of course supply some beer : )

Good with bringing it to someone if preferred. Anyone up to helping out, or know someone who might be?

Thanks,

F

Id be up for helping, I've been into at least 1 NB 6sp that comes to mind, but plenty of other stuff as well. Built many differentials, a few engines, etc. I work professionally as a tech as well, for what that's worth. However, I'm slammed at the moment, so I can't realllly commit to a timeline but I should hopefully get a bit more freed up as the summer goes on. Happy to work through it with you or if you wanna leave it with me that would work too, just can't guarantee a timetable. I live in Silver Lake and work at a small shop off of La Cienega just south of Pico. Feel free to PM me and we can chat more if you're interested!
