My turboed 2003 is wanting to stall
Any help is appreciated!
important information: the car is a 2003 NB has a flyin miata turbo kit and flyin miata clutch but is stock otherwise I believe and that’s how i bought it, its also my first turboed miata so i don’t know a ton about them or if the turbo part relates to my issue. it’s been sitting for a 2-3 weeks while i was waiting for the part to get shipped and was previously sitting for around 7 months when i bought it about a month ago.
I had a check engine light for a HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1, Sensor 2) (P0037) and I fixed it today, and no check engine light while driving it. But the car keeps stuttering and almost stalling out when i stop and the battery light and check engine light flash at the same time.
I put the battery from my last miata in it that was totaled out and i bought that one around October 2024 sometime. and drove 140 ish miles it home and it was just fine
could it be a battery issue or is it most likely something else? any idea what it could be? i can answer any questions or give any other info i may have forgotten or not put in here Thank You!

I have, several times, troubleshot issues with how the car is running only to find out the battery was very low and/or my alternator wasn't charging it very well. I'd believe the battery light and go from there.
