Wow I have joined this forum at 2007 searching info when I wanted to turbocharhge my NB and now we have 2025 owning over 10 miatas , mostly NB/NBfls and two NCs. Turbocharged and all of them boosted. Opened a dyno shop and still operate it from Athens.
What a journey !
My last July build:
Decided to buy a completely stock 2.0 NC to start with.
Already had in the shop a T25 Kraken Mani/DP combo and a td06sl2 with gtx billet 11-0 turbocharger brand new so I started unbolting stuff
At this point I could still drive home a
Piping routing if turbocharger was making me a favour and could be clocked pointed down but no / turbo hit valve cover yo/
T28 compressor inlets/outlets are impossible to find in Greece so I weld them didn't want to wait one month to make boost
Enkei 17x8 wheels fitted as well from Evo IX gift from my old NC
Ready for first start to calibrate the maf because it is getting late (5.00am and I have to open the shop at 10.00am) I am getting old
It works! Next day small leaks fixed , did a base map , boosted right away with Bosch ev14 550cc injectors.
Some heat management and preparing the car for the long trip in the hot summer of Greece. Coolant temps are great 82-95(max) need to fix my IATs only that are going up to 49c because of the heat soak of the radiator fan .
Right now I have fitted a 0.4bar preloaded spring in the IWG and I see 0.9bar of boost. I need to lower it as the engine is completely stock and the rods are crying to go out for a spin
Haven't dyno it yet because my stock clutch left the chat lol
