Default SPL bumpsteer kit and BBK clearance?

Does the SPL bumpsteer kit interfere with any Big brake kits?
https://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazd...t/61-3845.html

I have a Trackspeed 11.75" big brake kit on an NB miata with standard thickness rotors and stock tie rod ends, etc.

Goodwin racing said "we cannot confirm if there will be a clearance issue with any BBK. That noted, we have encountered issues with the Mazda OEM R-Package Tie Rods contacting dust shields or rotors with some big brake kits, not always, but sometimes. It seems to be from car to car, so it's a possibility."

This is the clearance I have now

Studying your pic and the product pics I think it would clear. They are going to be longer of course but they seem to slim down relative to the OEM style rod end. Definitely not stoked on a nylock nut in that application though, its going to be literally millimeters from the brake rotor. I'd swap those for some deformed-thread locknuts if you end up going with their kit.

Are you experiencing bad bump steer with the R-pkg rod ends?

the spl bump steer kit will be really really close, and possibly contacting...
with those of us who are using the 1.25" rotors they won't work...

I contacted spl about developing a new kit in light of these newer brake kits and they were uninterested.

Thanks for the replies, I found some old posts on Track Miata FB groups, and alot of people didn't like the design from an engineering perspective, and questioned the fitment as well.

Not sure I would benefit, as the car has been up on jackstands for awhile and just exploring what options I might have once it's on the ground and can do some measuring.
