Push Lock Quick connects for vacuume and pressure lines
After getting tired of dealing with vacuum lines permanently stuck to barb fittings, I wanted to try some 1/4" Push Lock QD fittings.
Thought about #3 AN lines but would have been awfully expensive for a vacuum setup.
Wanted to give my ECU, fuel regulator, turbo and fuel damper even quick signals and the 1/4" push lock line seemed like a good idea?
I adapted a cheap log manifold and routed a -6 line to it. Used Lowdoller Motorsports fittings and high temp line sourced from Summit, as well as a couple odd ball fittings from Amazon as the fuel regulator and damper are odd sizes.
So far it appears the larger line has a quicker response time and in theory signals should be closer together than running multiple different small vacuum lines?
When properly installed, supported and locked, hopefully they will withstand Sebring.
