dual intercoolers?
i have the jackson racing ic on my car right now and have a spare air to air intercooler can i run dual from turbo to air to air ic to the water to air jackson ic?

I don't see why anyone would, didn't someone say that water coolers will run as hot as your coolant or something like that?
I will be having my own little chiller made that will run after the intercooler. It will basically be a section of 2in pipe inside of a 4in pipe welded at the ends, then cold water will flow through the space between the pipes and viola!! I'm sure if you think for a minute you will be able to picture it.
Just put a big Air/Air IC and be done. You won't gain much by using an air/water cooler after the air/air. It won't make enough extra power to offset the weight gain of the water/air hardware. I would only do this if it was for drag racing and you plan to circulate cold brine through your water/air cooler.
My little chiller will be for hot days at the track and will weigh less than 12lbs including the ice tank. Last July we had 13 days of 100+ weather and I won't take chances when I have the 60 trim pushing 15psi!!
What? A gallon of water is 8 pounds. ****, you'll need a few gallons of cold coolant or brine for good results. Are you running the 1/4 mile? If not your gonna need a decent amount of brine to keep the charge cool for more than a few seconds. Plus that design you posted isn't gonna pull much heat out. You'll need a real heat exchanger that has lots of copper tubes running through it for it to have a chance to exchange some heat. I would strongly urge you run WI instead if your tracking the car and worried about charge cooling. Will weigh less, be a lot simpler, and more effective.
I guess you will just have to wait and see! It would be easy to control as well. Maybe even have an IC sprayer run off the same tank for those runs on the street, as the track won't allow a liquid sprayer.
With your design you are gonna cool the outside of a 2" pipe, blow air through it really really fast, and hope it cools the air right? Problem is most of the air flows in the middle of the pipe, and will never see the cool pipe. What little air does see the outside of the pipe will cool some, depending on the length of your cooler, but you won't see much temp drop. Unless your cooler is 20' long it's not gonna be very efficient. A regular air/water heat exchanger works because it has many copper tubes in it. The air is forced to travel next to the cold tubes. Don't spray water on the intercooler, that won't do much and you can't use that at any track. Spray it in the engine, that does do something and is legal.
