Default BOV question

I feel like a newbie, but does it make a difference if you mount it on the driver or passenger side as far as throttle response goes or potential issues? I was thinking of moving the BOV if I do an over the radiator or v-mount setup.

Doesnt matter.

The only thing that I read matters is where you tap the boost signal for the turbo when it comes to the stuff like you mention.

I have heard ~12-16 inches from the throttle body inlet is best for throttle response. I have also heard mounted on the intercooler is optimal. I've driven in cars with these setups and one with a bov right after the turbo and could not tell any notable difference. I am convinced this topic goes in the same category as questions like what weight oil should I use.

Until you speak from personal experience instead of "I heard", stick with being a newbie!!

if you run it on the hotside you have to use high-temp hose because of the charge air temperature there.
