Default Acceleration map during startup?

I'm driving a 92 Miata with an EMB setup and I wanted to fit an analog TPS during the winter.

I'm driving the car with E85 and as it gets colder, I'm faced with a more and more difficult startup. During a coldstart, E85 likes to have an "Overrich" condition to start.

I thought about wiring an 10k Ohm Poti in parallel to the water temp sensor to create a kind of choke...

Another idea:

Could I use the acceleration map of the EMB to provide the (only for a short second needed) additional Fueling for Startup by a simple quick step on the gas pedal?

Would this work already while still cranking or does this map need a running engine to work?
