has anyone heard of doing a 2.5 mx6 into a miata?? i saw a video of one in a 95 miata, but couldnt find anything on it.. anyone know if the trannys would bolt up. i have a contour svt that got smashed in the rear end, good engine though, i know its duratech.. anyone know if it would bolt up to a miata tranny.??? just curious. i cant find anything on it..

Oh, and there's a Mazda KL06 v6 in the MX6...

I think what they are getting at is....... They don't know, or for some reason want to burn someone. LOL
It sounds like this will be a project that will take alot of research, and trial and error.

Anyway, the ranger and mazda truck tranny will bolt to the miata motor. So if you can put that motor in a mazda truck your good.
There is a swap list for all RWD Mazda's out there on a site. It wasn't too hard to find last time. I think I was linked to it off of Miata.net garage.

Mabe a Rx7 trans will bolt to it.??? That would be better.
