Default Need input/help ASAP!

Ok guys, some of you might remember my post about my tranny going out. I have a 95 and I purchased a 99 trans with 66k miles. I finally got time to work on the car this weekend. Today I spent the whole time pulling out the transmission. (one of the main bolts stripped.... Pain in the *** to get out) So, the speedo cable issue..... The NA trans has the actual cable hook-up, and the NB trans has a wire hook-up. It almost looks like I could switch them out and hook up the speedo cable to it? Is this true? I guess that really the only issue I have.

I'm doing this tomorrow, and I won't have time to work on it again for a while. So I REALLY hope to get it finished tomorrow. Any other issues on converting the NB tranny to make it compatible? I am going to splice a couple wires, buts that's the only other thing so far I have seen that needs to be done.... besides the speedo cable issue.

should be i believe m.net has a good writeup on it somewhere. If nothing else not haveing a working speedometer is not a huge issue till u get it sorted.

Just unbolt the 10mm bolt and move the entire NA speedo cable assembly over.

Yea, I was working on it today and I did that.... guys I honestly can't believe yall can work on the cars so easy. It was a HUGE pain in the ***, just moving all the wiring/harnesses out of the way to even bolt the tranny up to the motor. I had to tie all that crap up out of the way.

So I got the tranny on. I was struggling for a long time to get the starter lined up to get one of the bolts through, but in the end was unable and I ran out of time and had to leave. To clarify the car is just at a buddies oil change shop. So we are working out of the pit.

All that needs to be done now is put in the last starter bolt, and 2 more tranny bolts. Then bleed the slave cylinder and bolt it up. It's just very frustrating trying to work in such cramp spaces. Any tips for lining up stuff? Getting those wire harness/ brackets lined up correctly/ easily?

Cause the whole process has just been a huge pain in the ***. Luckily we have a impact with a big extension and swivel, so it makes it easier hitting some of these bolts.... but its still a huge pain in the ***.
