Default Can't get car into gear. Please help..

92 miata, link ecu, 5 speed xtd stage 3 clutch, xtd presure plate, xtd lightweight flywheel, greddy turbo.
Recently replaced engine and added all the above during install. the car won't go into gear, replaced already replaced clutch slave cylinder and bleed the system, I can see it pushing the fork. car goes in gear fine with engine off but when engine running I can't get it into any gear. please help!!!

on a side note the cooling fan also doesnt come on. there is no connection from the relay positive switched position to the fan terminal, can this cause anything?

So did you just changed the engine and clutch? Sounds like the disk may be on backwards or the throwout bearing may not be on right.

If you just replaced the slave and clutch master cylinder, I would say try bleeding more.
Also take crecent wrench and put it on the clutch arm. And then move it manually to see how much travel you have. and then compare it.
When you do this you will beable to tell if the travel is right or if there is something binding or not engaging.

Have you tried to go into any other gears while it is idling?

Thanks for the reply, Yes I changed the engine and all the clutch stuff. Actually right after I installed everything and the car was still on jack stands I was able to shift throughout the gears although it was a bit notchy, I thought It was cause I didn't have a **** **** on it. Anyway it seemed fine untill I installed the wideband o2 and my exhaust then I brought the car down off the jack stands to this issue.

Any other thoughts fellas?? I'm sure the plates are on right as well as the throw out bearing. Bearing end should be facing the Presure plate right?

I'll try the crescent technice and check. It will not shift in any gears while the engine is running. Seems like somethings locking me out??

You have air in the system still. Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?

Read the second post of this thread. If you follow the procedure I outlined, it will be fixed.

Thanks guys for all the help.. I did bleed it out again and after about 2 bottles of Dot3 I got it going... Now my issue is the car keeps dieing on me. It probably has to do with the Link ECU. Hope to actually drive it this week.

Ahh regarding the cylinder rebuild kits, I bought the whole slave for $39 and it comes with a lifetime warranty so I figure if it ever fails I can just replace it so after about 3 times of doing that its just like buying 3 rebuild kits.. Worth it? I thought so.. Good luck to all who come across this issue.. Bleed and bleed then bleed again it will get you going..
