Default timing belt + water pump prices...

I see a large variation in pricing.... FM's kit is around 200 bucks if I remember correctly, and I found a kit with idler pulleys and everything on ebay for less than 200....

Where have you guys sourced your parts for this service? I'd like to not overspend here though I realize that it's important to get quality components.

Yea, eBay timing belt and water pump, 1 year, no problems. Paid around $80.

When I did my TB/waterpump I got the parts from one of the m.net vendors. I'm not positive but it might have been FM. Going on 4, maybe 5 years now on the parts. Everything was OEM Mazda parts. IIRC ebay kits don't use OEM Mazda. Not sure if that matters, but it did for me.

I just replaced all this as part of my build. The engine I tore down was built by FM. The parts I pulled off were identical to what I received in my Ebay kit with one exception. The timing belt was a different brand, but other than that everything was identical. The ebay kits are well worth it in my opinion, just make sure you're getting a quality brand of parts before ordering.
