The Koni yellow threads look like they are too short for the entire NB tophat assembly. Only the bumpstops, bumpstop shield, and top hat itself seems to fit. Neither the bottom nor top rubber cushions seem to fit without significant modification.

Is it ok to install the tophats without the rubber cushions?

search "modernbeat" on cardomain for a great way to run Koni yellow's on a NB hat. Just like a FCM mount kit but for the fraction of the cost.
