Default Corrado Brakes + Stock BBS rims = ?

I literally could not get a piece of paper through there. Props to M-Tuned and their precision engineering!

Grind 'em dude. It's weight reduction.

I'd grind the calipers to play it safe, or run a 5mm spacer.

Yeah man, that looks WAY to close. Any flex anywhere would for sure make it rub.

How much thickness is left on your outer brake pads? If they're worn even 1-2mm, you won't be able to mount up your wheels after installing new pads. Bust out the grinder.

This is what I was thinking, but from the looks of the pics you slapped in new pads at the same time...so things can only get better.

I would atleast pull out the grinder. The nice thing about cast parts is the outer layer is almost sacrificial from a strength design stand point. You can take down that casting ridge, and a little more if you feel the need. I wouldn't try to get away with more than 1mm or so, and it won't replace a good 5mm spacer if you really want piece of mind. Aluminum (forged) wheels don't flex *much, but we do tend to corner pretty hard.

Tight fit...but atleast it works. God I'd love to have that Corrado conversion kit (and my BBS wheels back).

The problem with this is that it will clearance the wrong side: the wheel.

Better to grind down that cast caliper that can stand to lose the material than have it grind down your forged aluminum BBS wheels that were designed to use every last bit of work hardened alloy that they contain. The research and engineering that goes into BBS wheels (forged atleast) is unbelieveable, and that's why they're so coveted. I wouldn't alter anything on those besides removing the center cap.

Trust me on this one...take off wheels, make a couple of passes with grinder, enjoy.
