high coolant psi =[
I got about 2000miles on my new motor and the other day it started to shoot coolant from the radiator to the res then out the res. I replaced the radiator cap and i ran the car with out the thermostat to see if the new one that was in there was bad but it still dose the same thing. what do i do to fix this????

Blown headgasket between around cylinders 2 and 3 was blowing air into my cooling system and forcing all the water out. As soon as I'd crank the car it would just start pissing water into the overflow tank. GL.

No i dont but i do have a full aluminum one that's 2 times as wide as the old one. It has about 3000miles on it.
+2 on head gasket. If it is blown, it is too late. Retorquing will do you no good. Is there steam coming from the tailpipe?
However, it may have rust in the bottom of the radiator. It happened to me. Is the fluid rusty colored?
To fix the problem, I ran the waterpump (electiric on my car) with the drain open, and a water hose forcing into the radiator. The preasure from the hose pushed all of the garbage that was in my radiator core out of the drain hole. Try it with the car off, and then try it with the car running (engine cool) with the thermostat out. Then with the car not running again.
Careful about cold water in hot engine. If you pump cold water into a cold engine when it is running, you will not have a problem pumping water into it following engine shut off. It could be a problem if it sat and the block started to heat the water. Continue until the water is clear.

i did it and i got 170psi from 1 to 4.
I RE-TQ it and it stopped also i have an aluminum radiator nor rust here.
ARP 70ftlb but i went to 75 today and now the problem is fixed

Once they go they are gone. Hot gases will make a small path in the gasket and even tightening it will not close it up. Fel-Pro gaskets are cheap though, any local part store should have one for under $50.
