No Spark, what'd I miss?

Working on getting my car running, it gets fuel and air. Took a plug out, stuck it on the coil, turned it over to see if it sparked and nothing.
I've replaced with different plugs.
Replaced with different wires.
Checked the engine fuses
I don't have a good voltage meter to check the coil-packs :(
Its grounded.
Should I flash the firmware on my MSpnp?
Should I check any other settings on MS? (dwell settings?)
The car has been sitting for about 6 months now, I wouldn't figure this would mess with any wiring too bad.
If I had my TPS wired wrong would it still send spark at all?
I'm just looking for advice and trying to brainstorm some more to get this narrowed down.

TPS won't affect your spark, I've completely disconnected mine before.
I had a recent problem with my CAS, maybe make sure it's connected, although you wouldn't be getting fuel if not.

I hope you haven't reflashed firmware before with the coils or ignitor still plugged in...

Logged it three times. For future reference, my AEM isn't wired to my MS so it won't show an AFR, even though that doesnt matter right now!
After I asked about the TPS I remembered when N3V ran his car with no TPS :-\. And no I haven't flashed any firmware, was just asking about it.

Need to see an MSQ as well.
Something's weird with your CMP (second trigger) signal. In log 1135, it's inactive for nearly the whole duration of cranking, and the RPM reading is bogus (it's stable at exactly 176- RPM is never stable.) In 1137 and 1138, however, I do see it, and I also see believable RPM readings.
Did you change anything between those logs?

I'm using the basetune, http://www.megasquirtpnp.com/models/...Map_012808.msq
It's a 01 block and my 97 crank angle sensor bolted up to it fine. Would it matter which plate needs to be behind the crank pulley? I can't remember 100% but I think the 01 plate was a little different than my 97 plate. Just a thought, probly means nothing.
Are you sure you're not getting any spark?
I can't review log here at work, but have you checked base timing?
Since WBO2 isn't functional I'm guessing you're basing the assumption that injectors are firing based on your awesome olfactory sensor...

I know I'm getting fuel, stuck my finger down the ITBs, lol. Checked the plugs as well.
The wideband works, its just not wired to the MS.
I took a plug out, stuck a coil wire on it, layed it on the frame to see if it'd spark, and nothing happens :(.
I can do a longer log if you guys need it, my friend let me borrow a bigass XS power group 52 battery.

I assume you know which part of the plug to ground to get spark.
May be worth trying the old screwdriver in the wire to valve cover trick...plus it's fun!

You can't see CKP (it's the IRQ), however CMP shows up as bit 4 (dec value = 16) of PortC.
Nope. That sensor is not used at all by the MSPnP.
In the 1137 and 1138 logs, it sure seems like spark is being commanded to happen by the MS. This might just be a wiring problem in the ignition system. Or maybe you killed your coils by flashing the MS with them plugged in? Etc.

I wish I had recorded this...
I was helping BRGracer get his car started...it was flooding and he wanted to check for spark, so he got me in a video chat and set his laptop on the fender and lined up all his plugs across the VC in front of a screwdriver. They were still wet...when he cranked he had spark, and fire as well...

Hrmm, the car has sat for 6-7 months, it'd get moisture in the car every now and then, but nothing too bad.
The only think I've done is, plugged in the laptop, got it communicating, burned the base tune, then tried to crank it over. The coilpack worked fine on the last engine, they've been sitting on a self ever since.
I'll pull all the plugs and lay a screwdriver in front of them and have a friend look at them.

Check the trigger angle addition in the base tune...probably way off what you need.
Have someone crank while you hold the timing light (if you've got spark that is, timing light will tell), and make changes until you get close enough for it to fire...then set base timing properly.

Best way to do it, in fact.
Disconnect the injectors' electrical connection so you don't fill the engine with fuel.
Power the timing gun off of a separate source- the starter pulls down the car's battery so much that a lot of timing guns won't fire properly.
Mark the notch on the pulley with paint so you can see it easily. Make a different mark (ie: different color) 180° out from the notch, so you can see if you're reversed.
