a friend of mine has a set of eibach springs that he had on his 90' na. will they fit my 99 nb? i see that sites sell them for a year range 90-97 99-05 etc. so im thinking that they wont fit

 

They will physically fit but they may not produce the ride height you're looking for. Also they suck. I had them on my 92 they were to soft for being that low.

 

I have them on my car, I'm starting to hate them. I'm considering buying racelands... that's how much I hate them

 

There are a lot of really newb questions popping up about suspension here. You guys need to start searching more before hustler starts pillaging you.

Instead of being a douche, do some research. He was being nice to you. The kind folks on this forum will not hold your hand as you take baby steps. Do that **** on your own, then come back when you have questions to ask that will better the community. I understand you are new to these cars and have lots of questions. If you really don't want to search, then just spam every little thought over at m.net, they seem to like it.

 

Actually they won't.

NB perches are angled for open ended coils...whereas our NAs use flat, closed coil perches. To use them on an NB you need to find or make a flat spring perch.


You are definitely right on the ride height issue...they will be lower than an NA with same springs, further exacerbating the low spring rate issue.

Ah, didn't know that. I didn't look that closely when I swapped the NB suspension onto my GF's car.

 

its a simple question a few guys anwsered for me already. there is no need for him to tell me to search or do anything besides either post and be productive or not post...


-that will be a problem if the car will sit lower than a na would with the same springs, the car is so low already i would be scraping everything. would have been nice, he would let me have them for 100.

 

Next time just do a simple ******* search and there won't be a problem. If you want people to be productive and helpful in your own BS thread then bring something to the table. Put a little effort into it next time.
