All right, so I'm diggin' this VE tuning... It's so easy and the car is running great. I'm still running stock injectors and no turbo yet.

My q is, after I get a nice VE table going, is adding larger injectors as easy as I'm thinking?
1) install injectors
2) tell adaptronic new injector size and dwell settings
3) drive

I'm assuming since VE tuning involves a calculation based on injector size, it'll adjust the pulse width accordingly? Of course I would set it up in rapid tune for a bit then slow converge for a little while, but is it that easy?

Thoughts? Opinions? Insults?

Hello Todd,

The only thing that will trip you up is if you don't have your dead time set or don't know the deadtime of the new injectors. Big differences in deadtime between the injector sets will mess up your VE scaling because you will have this other added number to your basemap that doesn't scale proportionally.

If all that is setup right, I wouldn't see any reason it shouldn't work.
