Default Will 205s fit on a 6" wheel?

Remarkably, I'm having trouble finding the answer to this. Google does not help. So I figure I'd ask. I have those awesome BBS wheels that I really want to run but they're only 6" wide, and if they can't fit 205s, it's off to the ebay.

Anyone got any words of wisdom?

theyll fit, but Im sure theyll be slightly buldged. Also fitment may vary on brand and models.

They'll be fairly bulgy and they won't provide great feedback, but there's no reason they won't fit. 6" is comfortably within the recommended width range for most 205s.

Yes it'll fit (though a 7" wide wheel would be better), and assuming you're talking about a 205/50-15, it's a great size tire for our cars. I think a 195/50-15 would be a better size for a 6" wheel though.

Tire rack lists approved wheel width in the SPECS section of any tire on their site.

And this page has some good info on wheel width in respect to tire width.
