Default FEELER: Keenonracing Carbon Spindle Ducts?

We all know cooling your brakes is a big part in the deal of keeping them happy. Larger rotors help, larger pads help, better pistons help. But the key element is a good spindle plate that well feed as much air as possible to the inside of the rotor.

I met a local carbon firm that specialized in racing products and we are looking into producing carbon spindle ducts.

Design targets:
- fit like and replace OEM plash guards
- for the OEM brakes, Goodwin v4 and V8R brakes
- ABS compatible
- accept 3" hose

We're putting this feeler out to gauge interest from the community. Expect this not to be a cheap part, but it will be very sturdy, lightweight and tested.

- who of you are very interested in this product?
- what is your brake setup, which types would our product need to fit?

It might also boil down to being too expensive and we will also see at what price level an aluminium version will come.

All feedback welcome.

ISC racing makes them in 2.5" ducting and they're cheap.

I know. Those are: alu, 2.5" and non-ABS. Those are $125 a set.
I am looking into: carbon, 3" and ABS. Feeling for interest.

Kognition designs make them for 240s, at 300 IIRC for 3" and carbon. dont see why you cant have it around the same

if they do get made for a reasonable price, id be in for a set

3" would be difficult to fit with most of big tired cars.

there is probably a bigger market in making 2.5" and Post-94

the one ISC make is a PITA installing. you need to cut a big piece of metal off the spindle.

I would be down for a set since I want to retain my ABS. This would be considering that they are at a reasonable price.

Have a great day,
Jared

if you have ABS spindles. Mine was a bolt-on affair.

60 shipped, very light weight and I didn't have to take a bunch of crap apart to put them on.
