impossible shipping
I recently purchased a budget BC racing coilover setup for my '05 outback daily driver, as these come highly recommended in the subaru community and I'm cheap. It comes with standard shipping included in the low chinese price. It left Taiwan Friday. As I am a man of great karma, it's scheduled to be delivered UPS in central Nj tomorrow, Monday. Incredible. No ****.
From UPS' website:
TAICHUNG CITY, TW 04/23/2010 7:23 P.M. ORIGIN SCAN
TAICHUNG CITY, TW 04/24/2010 7:00 A.M. DEPARTURE SCAN
...then another stop in Taiwan, then japan, then alaska, then kentucky where it left for Nj at 2:41pm today. I assume it'll arrive in newark tonight and be on the truck to Toms River tomorrow, or at the most Tuesday if it has to stop in Lakewood. But the scheduled delivery date is still tomorrow. What an incredible feat.
I hope the 6ulr's still arrive "first week in may".

LAKEWOOD, NJ, US 04/26/2010 6:54 A.M. OUT FOR DELIVERY
My wife thinks this isn't anything out of the ordinary. Apparently her work ships massive quantites of crap from china to the US all the time and it only takes a few days. but I still think this is incredible. Half way around the world over the weekend. I've had letters from PA take much longer to just get across the Delaware river.

I get mail over here in Germany via the USPS/Military postal system in about 6-8 days from the east coast, add a day or so if it's coming from the west coast. I thought that was pretty fast and definitely don't complain.

huh?
Is it normal for wheels to cost more than suspension? I dunno. It arrived today, hopefully I'll get time to install the suspension sometime this week, after work. A buddy had a lightly used set of 245/45 RE01R's he's dropping off Friday, should be a fun setup
