Default Daisy chain of hot pleasure

So last night I installed the TC_4 in a daisy chain with the LC_1 wideband sensor. At first I couldn't get the Adaptronic to recognise either one so I switched to Logworks ( Innovate software) to debug the data link. Eventually I got it to work and when I reconnected the TC_4/LC_1 combo to the Adaptronic,i the data for O2 and the thermocouple showed up.

So as advertised by adaptronic it works.

clearly you are not enough of a little girl to own a miata.

basically you string devices from one to the next with a terminated serial connection just like the flowers.

lulz, it's the h0m0 name for a series circuit.

What does the Adaptronic do with TC-4 info? Is it daisy chained to use the LC-1 sensor to read EGT?

You know Matt, I've understood the technical meaning of a daisy-chain for probably 25 years, but I'd never even wondered what the origin of the term was. I feel enlightened, and yet slightly less manly for knowing.

yeah, who knew a bunch of little girls playing in a field were coining nerdy technical terms for how we string together devices..

Well it worked great until it didn't. Sometime during one of the dyno pulls the values went to some ridiculously high number, like 4e9 degrees F. Clearly not right, unless I somehow started a fusion reaction in the exhaust manifold. The Adaptronic was still logging EGT and AFR so I suspect the thermocouple probe was damaged from too much heat. I have not investigated for damage yet.

So my daisy chain of hot pleasure was popped by some mean man operating a chassis dyno. And I did not even get a reacharound.

Well I found a loose serial connection so that was why I lost the data stream previously. Once I fixed that it all started working again. Works great.
