FM 1.6L clutch (ACT Xtreme plate, organic street disk, plate just replaced)

Engagement point is right on the floor (yes, the threaded rod is all the way out).
Question is, from engineering standpoint, do I shimmy the slave pushrod, or, get a longer threaded rod from the pedal (into the clutch master)?

 

sound like bleed more if that didt work defective pressure plate to me, itt happen to me same set up, i curse that setup,i had a bad luck using xtreme plate i just use hd now with solid hub 6 pad disc.good luck.

Turned out that the pivot on the clutch pedal stem had worn out so much, that it had silly back and forth play. Over 1/4".
When adjusted, which would usually require the full extension of the rod, the throwout bearing would sometimes get completely jammed against the PP, and, destroy itself.
Swapping out the pedals did wonders.
All's back to normal.

 

Just for posterity's sake and future searches: I had the same issue, it was the slave cylinder. Engagement sank down the pedal till it was below the floor (never disengaged). New cylinder fixed it. Good job!

 

Bought the slave (didn't install it), and, almost on cue, the clutch began to work.
Today, more weirdness. The clutch can go from easy to impossible to shift.

I think I'm just gonna throw money at the problem and begin replacing everything under the sun. The master is pretty fresh, the fluid is ATE, the slave is gonna get replaced tomorrow, what else is there? Pedal? Pedal has been replaced.

Argh!!!!

 

Solution to the problem.

Dual solution. Swapped out the slave cylinder. And, insulated the mid-pipe in the coolant re-route
