How do you tell the different six speed shifters apart if you have never seen both side by side. It's hard to test fit a shifter without having the transmission with you.

How much slop does the "small" version have in the "big" versions hole? Is it completely obvious? I assume the "big" version won't fit in the "small" version transmission.\

I though the MSM and the Limited edition miata 6speeds where the same with the only difference being that the MSM were treated a bit to make them harder (lol).
