Default Wari5 keeps freezing when I tune with my Netbook.

Wari freezes when I tune with my acer aspire one. It won't even last two minutes and I can't get anything done. Then after it says it can't see the ecu when I try to reopen it. I specifically bought the damn thing for the ecu. When I try a laptop I have no issues. I just bought more ram online to see if it helps.

Are you guys seeing the same thing with your netbook?

I guess your netbooks are all good. I wonder if it has to do with the way I had to install the db9 to usb software.

It's only happened to me a couple of time in a year or so. Make sure your Port modbus mode is set to 100ms.

if your usb to db9 is plugged in when your pc turns on, comes back from sleep, ect it will freeze, turn on your pc, open wari then plug in your usb to db9.

also try new version of wari.

You must have lots of patience. I use a Toshiba Portege 2010, from memory it is a P3 866 with 512MB RAM. Even that thing ***** me to tears with how slow it is.

hehe i always have the program on, when i shut it down, i close the screen and it goes to sleep after 5-10 minutes, when i press the power button its back up <10 seconds later, i enter my pass and 10-15 seconds i'm ready to change tunes (program is still up and all loaded, the previous settings already loaded).

i'm running 2000pro on it)

I'm planning on tareing it up apart and making it full car tunning computer.
