Default ID 725cc VS 1000cc

I am starting to think my 550cc injectors may not be enough once I go Rotrex, and even now they are having issues finding a solid, steady idle with my aggressive cams. I am considering some ID injectors, but wanted to hear what kind of power number people here are maxing at with the 725's VS the 1000's.

Also, is there any real difference b/w these and the deuschwerks injectors?

I will be running a C30-94, I think... and power goals are around 300whp. I plan to try different pully sizes to achieve this since I think a fully unrestricted 94 may be a bit too much for what I am building the car for. Might go max RPM when I start getting some aero.

edit: forgot to mention I also have an Aeromotive adjustable regulator so base pressure can be adjusted.

1000's on stock fpr at 300 on e85 and hitting 70's IDC

on pump gas the 725's should be more than enough IMO.

No E85 up here in Canada. Chevron 94 will have to do. I'd imagine that the 725's should be enough, but I just wanted to get some input. Thanks for sharing. Do you know what stock fuel pressure is on your NB? IIRC the NA fuel system is 38PSI?

I'm not sure on the price difference, but if it isn't really a difference in price I would just go with the ID1000s and leave room on the table.

The 725's are overkill for 300 whp on gas. 550 would do it if you have an aftermarket fuel pump.

Stock pressure on the NB is 60psi with no pressure reference.

A 550cc at 43psi base with a 1:1 FPR will max out just past 300whp. 725s will be more than enough, especially if you can turn the base pressure up.

FYI, the IDs LOVE pressure. I'm running mine at ~70psi base, so ~85-87psi at full throttle. ID recommends 90psi rail pressure at WOT. The injectors are capable of handling rail pressure of up to 130psi.

1000s at 70psi base is enough fuel for 750hp on gasoline or ~450-500 on E85. 725s will do ~425bhp at 43psi base, or ~550bhp at 70psi base.

And all of them will idle better than an RC550. EV14 > EV1

Run 1000cc injectors. No drawbacks doing so. Or buy 1200cc injectors and I will trade you my 1000cc injectors for ur 1200s
