Cool RX7 LSD preload settings - What's yours?

Long time no see, miataturbo.

Got sick of one tire lighting up out of every turn at the last autocross, so it's time to rebuild my differential. I think I initially (innocently) shimmed it to only 50 ft/lbs last time, which is entirely insufficient for 14psi and ~240whp.

I've seen a lot of people say around 100 ft/lbs, and others even more, like 125-150 ft/lbs.

I'm thinking of erring on the side of tight - i can't stand the way it drives right now.

So, what do you run? Especially those of you who autocross with >200whp.

Wow back from the dead.
Did you shim it with soda can(s)?

i've been out of the country for a couple years. miata's been gathering dust.

Yep, it's got four shims in it right now, and still holds 50 ft/lbs. I'm thinking of making two much thicker shims from steel or even putting in an extra friction plate or two.
