I have a chance to be a comlpete drivetrain out af a 1999 10AE with 120,000 miles on it, motor runs nice with no knocks or smoke, 6 speed has a slight 2nd gear issue when cold and the 3.9 torsen seems to work perfect. Just wondering what this would be worth, and I am a little worried about switching to the 6 speed, but my 5 speed is starting to howl a bit.

 

What are you swapping it into?

 

I have a 1999 10AE, its a long story. This is actually the original running gear out of my car, I sold to a guy and started building a V8 swap but had issues getting insurance so I bought a 99 parts car and swapped it back. My car is now a 5 speed with an open 4.3 diff, I'm really interested in the 3.90 torsen, but I have to buy it all. $1200 for engine,trans and diff is what he wants.

 

I'd say if you posted:

'99 Motor - $600
6 speed - $400
3.9 rear swap (axles, driveshaft, diff) - $600

They'd be sold within a day. $1200 for the lot certainly seems like a reasonable price to me.
