Default Neutral saftey and Back up light switches - locating and wiring.

So I've found that neither of these switches are hooked up in my car. I looked under the car and nothing is hooked up because all the connectors are completely different. Based on my research so far, it looks like the previous owner swapped in a later model transmission in my '92I have two switches on the drivers side of the transmission like this:

On the harness there were two female bullet connectors which based on research seems to be for the back up light switch which I cut off. Those connectors can be seen at the top of this older trans

These are the connectors I have - i chopped off the two female bullet connectors and was going to splice them into one of the switches but I figured I would ask before. They are the two wires electrical taped on the right, then I only have one single wire coming out with a white connector at the furthest - am I missing a wire for the neutral safety switch? If switches need replacing are they the same switch for both?

The sensors should be in the same place on the trans but you could easily check with a multimeter and shifting the trans into reverse.

Or just in neutral. The switch that is closed is reverse, the open one is reverse.
