Default MAF voltage reading issue

Hello

Finally the car starts perfectly BUT we still have an issue with MAF signal on '00 NB 1.8L

Referring to wiring diagram, the central wire (light green/black in our case) should be the signal one.
The boomslang cuts the signal, it goes into EMB IN and goes out from EMB OUT to the OEM ECU

Setting 3-A-0 => very rich
Setting 3-A-C => rich

If we go on EMB datalogging, the signal is ALWAYS 5V. It sounds very very strange. We tried with 2 MAF, and the outcome is the same.

We are not using it for tuning, as we are using MAP sensor.
I've read about the 1k Ohm resistor to be added between GND and signal, but I cannot find any write-up regarding the problem type. Is it the same we have?

Thanks in advance... as usual!

Check your cars wiring diagram against the boomslang. Sounds like they have picked the 5volt power to the MAF to interrupt rather than the signal wire.

Checked... with the tester also, connecting wire per wire on MAF side and on boomslang side.

How should the signal look like?
Linear and 0V @ Idle - 5V @ WOT or the opposite?

MAF signal increases with flow on 1.8's should be similar on newer 1.6's

Idle s/b 1.29 volts

WOT@6000RPM 4.0 volts

5 volt constant would indicate the power wire to the MAF
