ok so its been a few years since i played with my emanage and i now have a new PC running windows seven.
my 1.11 support tool disc wont play in the disc drive...

is the support tool working with Win 7?

anyone got a download link so i can install 1.11 then upgrade to 1.25/1.47??

 

Yeah, support tool works. Sadly I cant help with downloads though. Try the emanage yahoo group if that still exists.

 

If it doesn't work, try using XP Mode (only for Professional and Ultimate as far as I remember).
I'm using it in this way on one laptop without any problem

 

Hello! Problem with windows 8.1.
I have the EMB and i have successfully installed the support tool v.1.49 but when i'm trying to connect to the port it just won't see it. When i go to Control Panel - Device Manager - USB to Serial it shows me a warning saying that it can't start the program. I have installed Prolific drivers USB to serial. The same drivers work just fine for my Zeitronix. Any ideas on what i should do because obviously i'm missing something.

ps: i have tried all compatibility versions but same luck!

 

You can download virtual box on any pc even Mac just make sure you run an early version of :-P for me it worked great

 

tyr a different usb serial adaptor, i had exactly the same issue and it was just the adaptor, apparently the cheap ones have a chipset which doesnt play nicely with the emanage or windows 7/8. the better quality ones have a different chipset.
