I've been playing since it was closed beta. Now it's released.
It's a freemium game. I've put 10 bucks into it for permanent extra XP gain.
Use this link to register. It'll give me some extra XP to unlock classes.

Nice. This work on my Pentium 3 Dell?
Tribes 1 was the last FPS I've played back in college. When I scrapped my old computer and installed the hard drive into my current desktop to get old MP3s, I played it. There's actually still some people hosting games, it was fun but I was no good with the wife's trackball.
Free is for me. I may have to try this. I wonder if they will frown upon it at work. Supposedly the computer I have here is pretty bitchin'.

Bugged the crap out of me. I could never seem to get good. If you take one second to decide if a gun is better than the one you're carrying, someone from five miles away has slid/jump packed in and killed you. It's an interesting challenge trying to line up a shot at 120 mph.
Not my cup of tea, but I'll definitely be trying to give it a better shot. Excuse the pun.

I'm playing.
The friend system reminds me of Twitter. You can follow people and they can follow you, no permissions required. My bro is a bauce at video games and has ~15 followers now. I myself am pretty decent and have ~5.

Still pretty fun, I still suck at this game.
I recently upgraded to Win7 Pro from XP. Using the same video card (750ti gtx) my game runs very smooth compared to before on the new OS.
No complaints here
