Cobalt makes a sport pad in XR2 compound. I plan to use it on the fronts as well.
Does this sound like the best setup for a 1,950lb Miata with 232whp?

Sounds good to me. I know you have a prop valve already, but that's an important part of the mix as well.
I like the Hawk DTC-60s a lot, but let me know how you like the XR2s.
