Default 1.8L from an automatic into my manual '96.

This motor is out of a loaded '96 automatic, and I will be swapping it into my '96 manual. Is there anything different, or should it swap right in?

If anything is different you'll be able to take it off your old engine. I'm thinking the TPS might be different, or the throttle body.

New engine huh? :P

Yeah, this one has 134k, I'm hoping he can get some compression numbers for me still, but it's a fair deal. Much easier and cheaper to swap this one in than build one up.

Yeah it's got that weird non-linear throttle body. pretty sure throttle cable won't be right length so just the TB from your manual car.

And building engine is actually easy, just $$$$$$$ and once you start, there is no going back.
