Wanted to post an ad in the classifieds, but didn't have the button, so I paid for a membership, and it still doesn't work. What's the deal?

I'll spoon feed you since you supported the site. You need a 10 post minimum to get into the classifieds. Don't spam the rest of the way there and try to post something with real substance.

I do not think paying automatically gets you into the classifieds, and even if it does, if you do not have many posts us mods will most likely talk to you. Honestly if you want to use the classifieds. Start an intro thread, and the contribute good posts to the forum until you post count is high enough.

 

I know I wouldn't do that anyways I like to shoot the **** first then go post in the for sale section

 

My first post here was a FS ad. I was told that it wouldn't end well.

Well, my post count and my feedback shows that first post FS ad ****** CAN actually become productive members of mt.net.

Just be sure to become one of those.
