Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing
Type of Bearing: Journal

Is there a data tag on the center housing?

Same specs and looks exactly like the SR20DET S13 journal bearing T25 in my garage. I'll check tonight but I'm sure someone can confirm before I can get pics

Sounds like a SR20 T25, which is basically a non-DBB 2554/2560R-ish turbo. Probably the best cheap DIY turbo, since any 2560/2860RS/2871R bolts into the same manifold/DP. Expect ~200whp at 13-14psi and good low-end torque and response.

I'm looking to upgrade the stock MSM turbo. Just thinking this T25g will be a bit small or very similar to the stock turbo. Any input? The Tag on the unit has been removed.

Great turbo like Sam and Andrew said, but it is a very mild upgrade. Still better, but not much. If you want more than low 200's, you'll need something bigger.

That’s what I figured. I've been looking for a 2560. Any other recommendations?

2560 is a great 250-290 turbo. the tater (2860rs) is nice for 290-330. if you're looking for broad power curve those 2 would be great for the power levels you're looking for

If you want to go cheap, look for a T28, as they are very close to a 2560. They have them all the time on Zilvia.

I'd like to go MS3 but I need some info from people running MS units before I jump that way. I don't mind building it myself, I just need to ask a few questions before jumping out and buying stuff.
