Ok so im going to install the super miata damper. I bought a new crank bolt and key way just to make sure we have no issues. Whats the procedure? I thought i read somewhere to use loc tite on the keyway? from the copy of the manual im reading it looks like torque should be 157-166 in ftlbs?
i tried searching but everything comes up.

Indeed:

As to locktite on the key, I find no reference to this in the official documentation, nor can I imagine how it would help (if by locktite you mean the conventional threalocker.)
Perhaps we are thinking of Loctite brand 660 "Quick Metal", which is indicated for the repair of a damaged short-nose crank? Do not apply this to an undamaged crank. This is a last-ditch fix to get a damaged engine to stay together if you have no other alternative.

+1, the 660 fix is to get exactly 60,000 more miles out of your current engine, because there's no way in hell any of that is ever coming apart ever again once you do that fix.
I used the 660 loc tite fix Proceeded to beat on the motor pretty hard ...track day,MATG,and Miatas n Boone. Key way broke in half ..result in wobbling crank again....this time welded the crank. Then re filed keyway with dremal and file. ..no more slipping ... Power is back ....I think the 660 loctite fix may be good for stock NA power but high reving high hp....just weld the crank. Tighten the crank bolt to 120 ft lbs.
Also plan on super damper in spring ....let me know how install goes
